A repeat client from Pelham, GA, recently visited Precision, looking for a bed cover for his new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup. After going out to the truck for a quick inspection to ensure that we had accurate bed size information, we discussed how he intended to use his new truck and the features he wanted in a cover. The client wanted a hard bed cover that would protect the contents of the truck bed from theft. We suggested the Undercover LUX SE tilt-up cover as a solution.
This cover is a solid fiberglass panel that can be easily lifted from either side of the vehicle with the help of two support struts. The Undercover LUX SE is painted to match the exact color of the vehicle by using the paint code provided by the dealership, which ensures that the cover and truck blend together perfectly. This cover also features thick rubber seals along the sides to help keep water, dust and debris out of the truck bed.
Our technicians installed the bed cover onto the Chevy 1500 using the included clamps. The installation of this cover does not require any drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle, so there is no chance of damage or corrosion to the bed of the truck.
