Bed Cover and Window Tint Upgrades Protect a 2020 Ram 2500

A longtime customer from Climax, GA, recently visited Precision to inquire about window tint and a tonneau cover for his new 2020 Ram 2500. After stepping outside to see the truck, we took the customer back inside to show him the different options on our Llumar tint display. This display allows us to explain the IR- and UV-blocking benefits of each solution. We discussed how he intended to use the bed of his truck; this allowed us to choose a tonneau cover that would be more fitting to his everyday use. With a plan in place, we scheduled an appointment for the installation.

The customer chose Llumar IRX Window Tint, which blocks up to 99% of UV rays. This tint is perfect for protecting our customer, as well as the passengers and interior of the vehicle, from the damaging effects of the sun.

Our technicians start by pulling the vehicle into our dedicated, dust-free tint bay to perform the installation. We cut all our tint precisely to the exact fit of the vehicle’s windows using a computer-controlled plotter. Using the plotter ensures that the windows will not be scratched from using a knife, which tends to happen with hand-cutting tint directly on the windows.

The customer chose one of our Retrax One-MX Polycarbonate tonneau covers. This tonneau cover is constructed from a one-piece sheet of polycarbonate and has a sealed ball-bearing roller system that glides effortlessly along the rail, with a convenient handle that eliminates the need for pull straps, Velcro, snaps or springs. The Retrax One-MX low-profile design incorporates a front cover that is flush with the truck bed cover. This provides a firm, dependable seal to help to keep the truck bed dry.

With the tint installed and bed cover in place, we called the client to return to Precision and check out his upgrades. He loved how the tint kept the interior cooler and how easy the new tonneau cover was to use.
