The sales team at Franklin’s Spring Creek Ford in Colquitt recently contacted Precision Audio to install a lift kit, an upgraded wheel and tire package, tool storage and window tint on a client’s 2020 Ford F-150 FX4. After working out the details on the wheels the customer wanted and the color for the tool storage solution, we scheduled an appointment for the dealership to drop the truck off at our shop.
Ford Wheel and Tire Upgrades
This Ford F-150 pickup received a set of 20-inch Fuel Off-Road Maverick D538 wheels wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler 35×12.50/20 tires. As always, we used our Hunter Road Force balancing machine to ensure that the new package would provide a smooth and safe ride. We made sure to install TPMS sensors and pair them with the factory computer. Finally, a set of locking lug nuts will help keep the wheels safe and sound.
To provide adequate clearance for the 35-inch tall tires and give the vehicle a more aggressive stance, we installed a Superlift K126B 4.5-inch lift kit on the truck. The kit includes new Bilstein shocks as well as fabricated cross-members and new steering knuckles with revised geometry. Our technicians completed the installation and made sure all the fasteners were torqued to spec for maximum safety and reliability.
Tint and Tool Storage
Next on the list was a 71-inch CamLocker Low-Pro toolbox. This all-aluminum tool storage solution features a tie-down rack on top of the box for added convenience. The tough carbon-steel, cam-shaped locking mechanism ensures that the box stays shut so everything inside is secure.
We installed Llumar ATR window tint on the front windows so that they’d look the same as the rear. ATR tint blocks significant amounts of IR energy from the sun to keep the interior of the vehicle cool and comfortable, even on a scorching hot Georgia day. We cut our window film on a computerized plotter so that we never have to use a knife on or near the vehicle.
We finished the accessory installation with a full set of WeatherTech Floorliner mats. These vehicle-specific mats are designed to follow the contours of the floor and extend up the firewall and transmission tunnel to keep the carpet clean.
