A client from Colquitt, Georgia, came to Precision Audio, looking for several upgrades for his new 2016 Ford F250 pickup. Our team of specialists spent time getting to know the client and understanding his goals for the F250 upgrades. We spent significant time looking over the vehicle together and listened as he explained his thought process to us. Once we had gathered all of our information, we worked up what we felt was his best solution, and he liked our idea, so we set an installation appointment.
Bed Protection By Line-X
The first thing we did was install a Line-X Standard spray-in bed liner, a new service offered by Precision Audio. It is the finest bedliner product on the market and offers a lifetime, nationwide warranty against fading or peeling.
Full Bumper Protection By Ranch Hand
Our team installed new front and rear full bumper replacements from Ranch Hand on the vehicle, dramatically changing the appearance of the truck. The front bumper is the Winch-Ready Sport Series model and is designed for maximum protection and towing capacity with the capability to add a 16,500 lbs Warn winch. The massive front grille guard not only sets off the front of the truck but seriously protects it from damage. This is not a cosmetic guard – it’s the real deal; major protection for the truck. The client even gets a standard 2” receiver in the front of the Ranch Hand bumper for further expansion and options.
In the rear of the truck, we installed Ranch Hand’s Legend Series bumper replacement. It comes with a 10,000 lb tow rating, so you know it’s also the real deal. Integrated backup lights finish off this true workhorse of a bumper. Both bumpers are finished in the highest-quality black powder coating, so the client can be confident the finish will last for years and years.
Leveling Things Out And Wheels And Tires
We installed a Readylift 1.5” leveling kit on the vehicle to give it an even stance, eliminating the raised rear look so prevalent in pickup trucks.
Any truck getting these modifications needs a good set of wheels and tires to finish off the look, so we installed a set of 20” Fuel Assault wheels in matte black with machined accents. For tires, we chose the Nitto Trail Grappler MTs in a 35×12.50×20 size. This is our top-selling mud tire with aftermarket wheels. It provides a combination of better ride, lower noise, and longer wear than a typical mud terrain tire.
Blacking Out The Sun And Other F250 Upgrades
For the finishing touch, we installed our Llumar ATR metalized window tint in 5% for all of the side windows and rear glass. The client gained lots of privacy while experiencing a 63% reduction in heat, 94% glare reduction, and 8% visible light reflection. As you can imagine, this truck is going to be a lot cooler in the scorching south Georgia summers. Precision Audio also likes the fact that the film eliminates 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays, which are known to cause skin cancer to people and interior damage to vehicles.
On the inside of the vehicle, our team installed HuskyLiner custom-fit, molded WeatherBeater floor mats for both the front and rear seating areas, protecting the carpet from all the dirt, mud, and clay picked up by the client’s boots.
