Franklin Spring Creek Ford in Colquitt, GA, recently contacted Precision Audio about upgrading the factory suspension and adding bigger tires to a customer’s 2021 Ford Bronco. With the new Ford Broncos hitting the road this year, more customers are looking to enhance and personalize their look and functionality. Our team at Precision quite often works with the sales team at Franklin Spring Creek Ford to help their customers achieve a certain look or improve the overall functionality of their new vehicles, and we were ready to help their client choose a set of upgrades that would customize their vehicle and make it their own.
We started by putting the Bronco on our lift to remove the stock wheels and suspension components. With the Bronco disassembled, we began installing our FTL5212 leveling kit made by FabTech. This 1 1⁄2 inch billet spacer kit is made of CNC-machined aluminum. These kits are designed to bolt on without having to disassemble the factory coil-over-shocks for a much safer installation. FabTech designed these kits to give customers the ability to run up to a 35 in tires on the factory rim.
After we installed the kit and torqued it to the factory specifications, we began mounting the customer’s new set of 275/70/18 BFGoodrich tires. We used our Hunter tire machine to remove the stock tires and install the new BFG tires on the factory wheels. Next, we balanced each wheel and tire combination using our Hunter Road Force balancer. The Hunter balancer runs all the tires up to speed, ensuring everything runs true and will deliver a factory-smooth ride.
When we had everything installed, the client came by Precision to check out his Bronco. He was thrilled with the upgrades and excited to get the vehicle on its way back home to Colquitt.
