A client from Grand Ridge, FL, recently visited Precision Audio to ask about some truck accessory upgrades for his 2019 Toyota Tacoma. We talked to the client about how he used the truck to develop an understanding of the kind of accessories he wanted. Once we understood his objectives, we started working with him to pick accessory solutions that would meet his performance goals and budget.
To complement his new truck, the client wanted to upgrade his factory step bars. He chose a set of Westin ProTrax 4 Step Bars in stainless steel, which offer more of a drop and a wider step, making it easier to climb in and out of his truck. The Westin steps mount directly to the chassis of the truck and can support up to 465 pounds of weight. They feature corrosion-resistant tubing and didn’t require us to drill any holes in the vehicle to install them.
To complement these new step bars and keep them mud-free, we installed a set of Husky Liner Mud Guards, which give enough cover to keep mud from being splashed onto these new step bars.
The last part of this upgrade package was to add Llumar ATR window tint to the vehicle. We used Llumar’s ATR-Series film to offer maximum UV protection and IR heat rejection so the client would be safe and comfortable on even the hottest of summer days. We cut all of our films on a computer-controlled plotter for a perfect fit. Some shops cut tint on the vehicle glass, but that method can scratch and damage windows.
The client was very excited to see the changes we made to his truck. He loved the clean and tidy look of the new step bars and how getting in and out of his new truck was so much easier.
