The owner of this 2020 Ford F-150 recently visited Precision Audio to inquire about window tint and several accessories to enhance the look of his truck. After a quick vehicle inspection, we showed the client the options available for a suspension leveling kit, grille guard and Cam-Locker toolbox. We worked with the client to help him choose the right solution to give his truck the style and functionality he wanted.
We started by putting the F-150 on our lift to remove the stock wheels and suspension components. With the F-150 disassembled, we began installing a TrailFx F25LL3 2.5-inch leveling kit. The kit includes a strut extension spacer for the top of the shock absorber assembly. Our suspension mechanics made short work of the installation while ensuring all the fasteners and hardware were torqued back to factory specification.
Next on the upgrade list was the installation of a Ranch Hand Legend Series GGF21HBL1 grille guard. This one-piece guard is fabricated from heavy-duty plates and 12-gauge steel tubing. The guard mounts directly to the frame of the truck. While many guards only offer a dramatic cosmetic upgrade, Ranch Hand grille guards are designed to protect the vehicle and occupants from impacts with animals that run out into the road, like deer.
The client wanted a solution for storing tools and personal materials in the bed of the truck. We took a look at our selection of more than 40 Cam-Lockers toolboxes on display to help him select a box that would look great with his F-150. He chose a 71-inch low-profile box in a gloss-black finish. This box has tie-down rails on the lid for added cargo-carrying options.
With the truck accessories installed on this Ford F-150, we called the client to let him know he could pick up his vehicle. He was thrilled with the upgrades and loved the new look of the truck.
