A client from Bainbridge recently contacted Precision Audio to inquire about LINE-X bedliner, window tint and a few other accessories for his 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck. We met with the client so we could inspect the vehicle and help him choose solutions that would offer the features he wanted and a style that matched the look of the truck.
LINE-X Spray-In Bedliner
We started the upgrades with the installation of a LINE-X Pro Spray-In bedliner. After thoroughly cleaning and degreasing the bed of the truck, we scuffed the paint surface so that the liner would adhere securely to the truck bed. After a final cleaning, we masked off the edges of the bed and protected the truck with plastic sheets to prevent overspray from getting on the paint. Our team applied the high-temperature, two-part liner to the bed and tailgate surface.
CamLocker Tool Boxes and Chrome Side Steps
The client wanted to add some tool storage to the bed of the truck. We worked with the client to choose a solution that would provide storage for the tools and equipment he wanted to carry. Ultimately, he chose a set of CamLocker CAM/SMB-60R 60-inch side-mount boxes in a diamond plate pattern with a mirror finish.
Up next was a search for a set of side-steps for the truck. As the vehicle has chrome bumpers with black inserts, the client wanted a solution that would make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle while matching the appearance of the bumpers. He chose a set of TrailFX Nerf Bar A0041S steps that feature a 3-inch chrome tubular body with integrated rubber step pads.
Heat-Rejecting Window Tint
Last but certainly not least was the window tint. The client wanted something that would look good and help keep the cab of the truck cool. We suggested our Llumar ATR window film. ATR film blocks almost 40 percent of the infrared energy from the sun to help reduce the temperature in the vehicle. Our team installed the tint in our dedicated dust-free window tint bay. As with all of our film installations, the film is cut on a CNC plotter so that we never have to touch the glass with a razor knife.

After a long day’s work, our team had the LINE-X bedliner, window tint and truck accessories installed on our client’s F-150. He returned to Precision Audio to pick up the vehicle and was thrilled with the work we performed.
