Franklin Spring Creek Ford in Colquitt contacted Precision Audio about tinting a customer’s new 2020 Ford F-250. The customer was looking for the best tint for privacy and heat rejection. After we discussed our shades of tint with the customer, he chose our Llumar ATR series tint. This metalized tint was a perfect match to the customer’s needs, offering 99% UV protection and 52% heat rejection with a lifetime warranty. He also mentioned that he wanted to raise the front end of the truck so it would be level with the back.
First we thoroughly cleaned the vehicle’s windows to remove any dust or debris. We pull every vehicle we install tint on into our sealed tint bay to prevent any dust and debris from getting into the film. We then used our plotter system to precisely cut the tint for a perfect fit to the vehicle. Most shops hand-cut their tint on the vehicle’s windows, which can lead to scratches in the windows due to the razor blades they use.
After finishing the front two doors, we added a strip to the front windshield. This cuts down on any glare from the sun and helps preserve the dash from sun damage.
After the installation, we inspected and thoroughly wiped everything down for a perfect finish.
The client wanted his truck leveled so he could clear the 37-inch tires in the future. The Trail FX kit raised the front of the truck by 2.5 inches, using a set of fabricated steel coil spring spacers and lower shock absorber extensions. With the leveling kit installed, the truck had the exact appearance the customer was looking for.
Once everything was installed, our technician double-checked everything we had taken off and put back on, and re-torqued it all back to factory specifications.
With the work complete, we pulled the customer’s vehicle back around and he was thrilled with the new look.
