A client from Pelham recently contacted Precision Audio in Thomasville about upgrading his new Jeep Wrangler with some wheels, headlights and tail lights. He was interested in improving the look of the stock wheels, along with adding some brighter LED lights. We showed him our large selection of Fuel wheels and a selection of Rough Country LED headlights and tail lights.
He chose a set of 18” Fuel Crush D561 wheels that would mount onto his stock tires. These wheels are a one-piece design that is made for off-road use. The Fuel Crush comes with a gloss black finish with machined spoke faces and a double-dark tinted clear coat.
For the lighting, he chose the Rough Country RCH5100 9” LED projection headlights and RCH5900 LED tail lights. The LED projection headlights and tail lights are DOT/SAE-certified to be street legal and feature a durable IP67 waterproof housing. With 100 watt/6500 lumen high beams and 30-watt/3000-lumen low beams, the headlights offer plenty of illumination. The tail lights have a durable black housing and smoke lens with ultra-bright LEDs.
We installed the Fuel wheels using our Hunter tire machine and road force balancer, which solves vibration issues other balancers miss. When mounting the tires, we re-installed the tire pressure monitoring sensors so the Jeep can continue to monitor tire pressure to keep the driver safe. We also installed locking lug nuts to keep the wheels from being stolen.
We installed the custom-fit Rough Country RCH5000 9” LED headlights and RCH5900 LED tail lights using the plug-in harness, which eliminates having to cut or splice any wires.
