A client from Climax recently contacted Precision Audio in Bainbridge about a 2015 Ram 2500 suspension lift and wheel upgrade project. We had previously installed a Ranch Hand Legend front bumper with an integrated grill guard, along with a Sport Series rear bumper on this client’s vehicle. This time, he wanted to install much larger tires to increase his ground clearance. We showed the client several different suspension lift options and looked at wheel and tire packages that would meet his needs. With a plan in place, we scheduled an appointment to begin work upgrading this heavy-duty hauler.
Upgraded Wheel and Tire Package
The client had a goal of being able to install 37-inch diameter tires on his Ram truck. We designed his upgrade solution working backward from that objective. Toyo 37×13.50R18 LT Open Country M/T tires were chosen primarily for their off-road prowess and reliability. They feature a deep-tread design that wraps around the sidewall of the tire. This helps with traction and mud evacuation when off-roading. The 3-ply polyester case design adds strength to provide confident handling on the drive home from the trails or in day-to-day operation.
The client chose a set of Fuel Off-Road Krank 18-inch wheels. The 2.8-inch Deep Lip option with a matte-black and milled accent finish on these 18×9-inch wheels give the truck an aggressive stance. Krank wheels include a center cap to conceal and protect the mounting hardware.
5-inch Fabtech Suspension Lift Kit

Fabtech does a great job engineering their lift solutions, so the installation was straightforward. We did not experience any problems.
