A repeat client from Moultrie, Georgia, recently stopped by Precision of Thomasville with a few new upgrades he wanted to add to his 2019 Ram 2500. We met with the client to discuss each element and solutions that worked with his needs and the appearance he wanted for the vehicle.
Before this, the customer had purchased a Ranch Hand grille guard and Cam-Locker toolbox from us. This grille guard is a one-piece fabricated grille guard that not only looks tough, but helps protect the vehicle and occupants from impacts. The guard is fabricated from 5/16-inch steel uprights with 12-gauge steel tubing and a mesh insert that matches the factory grille. Cam-Locker manufactures high-quality toolboxes and truck accessories constructed with carbon steel cam-locks and heavy-gauge aluminum. These are designed and manufactured in the USA, and are our favorite toolboxes — an absolute must have.
But the customer didn’t want to stop there. After picking out exactly what he wanted, it was time to order the parts and schedule an appointment for the installation.
We started the project by installing a Ready-Lift 3-inch front-leveling kit on the truck. This kit raises the front of the Ram to make it level with the rear and provides additional clearance around the tires.
The client chose a set of Nitto Ridge Grappler 37×12.5/20 tires for the truck to give it an aggressive stance and increased traction. We mounted the tires on the factory 20-inch wheels using our Hunter tire machine, then balanced the assembly using our Road Force balancer to ensure a smooth and safe ride on the highway.
With the upgrades installed, the client returned to Precision to pick up the vehicle. He loved the way everything looked and fit.
