A repeat client from Thomasville contacted the team at Precision Audio & Tint about tinting his new Tesla Model S. He wanted a tint that would block the most heat and protect the interior of his vehicle. We showed him the different options using our heat lamp and he chose the Llumar IRX ceramic window tint.

At Precision Audio & Tint, we use a computer-controlled plotter and software for a precise cut; in this project, specific to the Tesla Model S for each window. Other shops use a razor blade to hand-cut the tint on the vehicle’s windows, which can lead to scratches. We also do all of our tinting in our enclosed, dust-free tint bays.
Before installing the tint, our team cleans each window to remove any dust or debris. Once we’ve cut out the tint, we apply it with a solution of water and mild soap. With the tint in place, we wipe down each window and door panel to remove any excess water. Then we carefully inspect each window to remove any bubbles and trash.
