Thomasville Client Gets Chevy Z71 Wheels, Lift, Tint and More!

A client from Thomasville recently dropped by Precision Audio in Bainbridge to inquire about upgrading his 2017 Chevy Z71 wheels and suspension. He also wanted information about having his windows tinted. We headed outside to look at the truck to get an idea of what the client had in mind. After some discussion, we headed back to the store to discuss wheel upgrades and suspension lift options. Based on our suggestions, the client picked out the upgrades he wanted, and we scheduled an appointment for their installation.

Chevy Z71 Wheels and Tires

The Chevy truck was a great platform to add our upgrades to.

The Nitto tires give the truck much more grip.

The new wheels looked much better than the stock wheels.

The client picked Fuel Assault D546 wheels in a 20-inch diameter. The D546 wheels have a matte black finish and feature machine-milled accents on the eight-spoke design and sixteen hex head screws around the lip for that two-piece look. We wrapped the wheels in Nitto Terra Grappler G2 275/60-20 tires. These tires offer good off-road performance while working well in wet conditions. The tread design and rubber compound ensure quiet highway operation and amazingly long life. We used GM valve stems with integrated tire pressure sensors so that the truck will monitor tire pressure reliably.

Suspension Lift Kit for Added Clearance

We installed a Rough Country 3.5-inch suspension lift kit to give the truck a much more aggressive stance and provide more room for the Nitto tires. This lift kit is quite reasonably priced and includes front spring spacers, new upper control arms, new shock absorbers and rear axle blocks and U-bolts.

Our team of technicians swapped out the suspension in only a few hours. Once we had the new wheels installed and the truck back on the ground, we gave each fastener a final tightening to ensure the system would be reliable.

Premium Window Tint

It’s not news that it gets plenty hot here in Georgia in the summer. The client wanted his windows tinted to change the look of the truck and to serve as a barrier against the heat from the sun. As Southwest Georgia’s premiere Llumar dealer, we suggested ATR high-performance window film. ATR film rejects Infrared energy to keep the truck cab cooler and UV energy to protect the driver.

The new tint on the driver and passenger windows matches the rear windows nicely and gives the truck a uniform look.

We topped off the project by installing a TrailFX Bed Mat before turning the truck back over to the client. He loved the way the Chevy Z71 wheels and suspension upgrade looks and was anxious to show it to his friends.
