A client from Thomasville recently visited Precision Audio to inquire about some accessories and upgrades for his 2021 Ford F-250 pickup truck. He wanted a leveling kit to improve the stance and a grille guard to protect the vehicle’s front. He also asked about adding a toolbox and vehicle-specific floor mats. One of our truck upgrade experts worked with the client to choose solutions for each request, and then we scheduled an appointment to begin the installation.
Ford Truck Accessories Improve Style
The first order of business was to install a ReadyLift 662725 leveling kit on the front suspension of this F-250. The kit raises the front by 2.5 inches aside from the spring spacer blocks; it includes shock extensions and sway bar spacers to ensure that the suspension continues to operate smoothly.
Once we had the suspension reassembled and all the fasteners torqued to their factory specifications, we set to work removing the front bumper to make way for a Ranch Hand Legend-Series grille guard. Unlike some options on the market, Ranch Hand guards feature single-piece welded construction, so there’s no chance of rattles or any parts coming loose. The GGF201BL1C we installed has a cutout in the center to work with the forward-facing camera.
Tool Storage and Interior Protection
The client wanted a solution for storing tools and personal materials in the bed of the truck. We went through the CamLocker catalog to help him select a box that would look great with his F-250. He chose a 71-inch low-profile box in a gloss black finish. This box has tie-down rails on the lid for added cargo-carrying options.
We topped off the project with a set of WeatherTech FloorLiner mats. These vehicle-specific mats are molded from durable rubber to fit the contour of the front and rear footwells to keep mud, dirt, dust and debris out of the carpet. The client chose black mats for his truck, but they are also available in tan, cocoa and gray to match the interior of other F-250s.
