Franklin Spring Creek Ford of Colquitt, GA, recently recommended that one of their customers contact us about getting window tint and Line-X bed liner for their new 2020 Ford Raptor. The customer wanted a tint that would match the color of the privacy glass on the back windows of their truck. Doing this would add the privacy and aggressive look the customer was looking for. With a plan in mind, we set a time to begin working on their truck on the following day.
We began the tinting process with our technicians going through a multi-step glass-cleaning process before beginning the install. All our tint installations are done in an enclosed tint bay, which ensures there will not be any trash or debris in the tint. The Llumar ATR Series tint offers 48% heat rejection and 99% infra-red heat rejection. Our tint is all cut out on a Roland Plotter. This plotter ensures that all the edges have a clean cut and will line up perfectly with the windows of each vehicle.
The next step in completing this Raptor was applying the Line-X bed-liner. After thoroughly cleaning and degreasing the bed of the truck, we scuffed the paint surface so the liner would adhere securely to the truck bed. After a final cleaning, we masked off the edges of the bed and protected the truck with plastic sheets to prevent overspray from applying the paint. Our team then applied the high-temperature, two-part liner to the bed and tailgate surface.
The client was thrilled with the way their Ford Raptor project turned out.
