Wheels, Tires, Tint and More for Bainbridge Ram Client

A client from Bainbridge recently dropped into Precision Audio to talk about new wheels, a suspension upgrade and some accessories for his 2012 Ram 2500 pickup truck. After giving the vehicle a quick inspection, we worked with the client to help him choose solutions that would provide the performance and appearance he wanted. With a plan in place, we scheduled an appointment to upgrade and enhance his vehicle.

Ram Wheel and Tire Upgrade Package

The project started with a set of Moto Metal MO992 20-inch wheels and Toyo Open Country 35/12.50/20 Mud tires. We installed the tires on the rims using our Hunter mounting machine and balanced them using our Road Force balancer for a smooth, vibration-free ride.

To give the truck the look the client wanted and to clear the 35-inch tall tires, we added a Trail FX D20LL3 leveling kit. The kit raises the front of the truck by 1.75 inches using a set of fabricated-steel coil spring spacers and lower shock absorber extensions. With the leveling kit installed, the truck has a level stance and an even tire-to-fender spacing for a great look!

Off-Road Truck Accessories

The front of the truck is now protected thanks to the grille guard and bumper upgrade.

Getting in and out of the truck is safer with the step bar addition.

To complement the new wheels and tires, the client wanted to upgrade the bumpers and add a grille guard. He chose a set of Ranch Hand Legend front and rear bumpers. The integrated grille guard on the front bumper protects the vehicle from branches and trees when off-road and includes a hitch receiver to make pulling easier.

A set of Rough Country tubular step bars makes it easier to climb in and out of the lifted truck. The tubular steps mount directly to the chassis of the truck and can support up to 465 pounds of weight. The steps feature corrosion-resistant tubing and didn’t require us to drill any holes in the vehicle to install them.

Premium Window Tint Installation

The last part of this upgrade package was to add Llumar ATR window tint to the vehicle. We used Llumar’s ATR-Series film to offer maximum UV protection and IR heat rejection so that the client would be safe and comfortable on even the hottest of summer days.

We cut all of our films on a computer-controlled plotter for a perfect fit. Some shops cut tint on the vehicle glass, but this method can scratch and damage windows.

He loved the way it looked!
