A client from Bainbridge contacted Precision Audio about installing some audio and window tint in his 2005 Ford Mustang.
After checking out several products in our showroom, the chose the Kenwood DDX9903S 7″ touchscreen with CarPlay which displays many of the apps from his iPhone. To enhance his bass, he chose a Rockford Power T1D412 12″ woofer to go along with the Rockford Punch amp he already had.
To install the audio, we used a 12″ ported box tuned specifically for the Rockford sub, which we installed in a corner of the truck so he would not lose all of his truck space. To protect his equipment and the vehicle, we fused the power wire at the battery. We installed the Kenwood CarPlay receiver in the dash, using an integration harness that retained his steering wheel controls.
We installed the Llumar window tint using our computer system to cut out the tint precisely for a perfect fit for his vehicle. We didn’t use any hand-cutting or razor blades because these can lead to scratches in the windows.
We installed the tint in our sealed tint bay to prevent any dust or debris from getting into the tint. After the installation, we inspected everything and thoroughly wiped down the surfaces for a perfect finish.
