A client from here in Bainbridge recently visited Precision Audio to inquire about 2018 RAM 1500 wheels and tires. The discussion evolved to include a variety of accessories, including a grille guard and the installation of Line-X spray-in bedliner. We worked with the client to choose the accessories that would complement each other and give the truck a unique look and improve its functionality. With a plan in place, we scheduled an appointment to begin the installation.
Ram 1500 Gets Fuel Wheels and Toyo Tires
The client chose a set of 18-inch Fuel Krank wheels in a matte black finish. We mounted Toyo 275/65-18 Open Country C/T tires on the wheels and added a set of TPMS sensors so he’d always know the tires are inflated properly. The next step was to balance each assembly using our Hunter Road Force balancing machine. The Road Force balancer ensures the smoothest ride possible from the new Ram 1500 wheels and tires.
Trail FX Leveling Kit and Ranch Hand Grille Guard
We installed a Trail FX D20LL1 leveling kit to provide extra clearance for the new tires and to improve the stance of the truck. The kit includes a pair of 2-inch billet aluminum strut extensions and can easily accommodate his 32.3-inch tall tires.
While we had the truck on our lift, our technicians installed a Ranch Hand Legend Series grille guard. We also installed a set of Westin Pro Traxx 5 oval nerf step bars to make getting in and out of the truck easier.
Truck Bed Accessories
To provide the ultimate protection for the truck bed, the client chose our Line-X Pro spray-in bedliner solution. Line-X Pro is 300 times stronger than competing solutions, ensuring that the bed will be protected from scuffs, scrapes and even small dents. Line-X backs up the coating with a lifetime warranty against peeling, cracking or bubbling.
We topped the bed with a one-piece Undercover SE truck bed cover. We had it painted the same Flame Red color as the truck. The cover includes gas struts to keep it up and out of the way while loading or unloading.
The last piece of the project was a set of Huskyliner WeatherBeater floor mats to keep the interior of the truck clean and dry.

After several days of work, we had the client’s vehicle ready to go. The client loved the way his Ram 1500 wheels and tires changed the look of the truck. The grille guard and nerf steps gave it an aggressive appearance, and the tonneau cover tied the whole package together nicely.
