A client from here in Bainbridge brought his 2022 Ford Bronco to Precision Audio for a new set of bumpers and some accessories. We wanted to give the truck a tougher look while improving its safety when on the trails. One of our truck accessory experts worked with the client to pick front and rear bumpers that had the appearance and functionality he wanted, along with a winch and a light upgrade.
Ford Bronco Bumper Upgrade
The client chose new front and rear bumpers from Fab Fours. The Matrix front bumper is fabricated from 3/16-inch-thick steel plates and bolts directly to the chassis of the Bronco to keep it solid and secure. The client chose a model with a full tubular front-end guard to protect the grille and lights from tree branches. The bumper is compatible with the parking sensor system on the front of the vehicle.
We installed a 20-inch Rough Country 70720BL LED light bar in the center of the bumper, then mounted a Warn EVO 10 winch in the lower section. This high-torque winch can pull 10,000 pounds and includes a wired remote control for safe and easy operation. The light bar wiring was integrated into the overhead upfitter switch panel in the truck so that the interior continues to look as if it just rolled off the showroom floor.
The rear bumper is also from Fab Fours. The client chose the Vengeance model, with its angular design that matches the Matrix design on the front of the vehicle. The rear bumper is also compatible with the parking sensors. We always use a Snap-On torque wrench to tighten the fasteners on the bumpers to ensure that they’ll remain secure and safe, even when the Bronco is traversing the bumpiest of trails.

The client was thrilled with the way the upgrades turned out. The bumpers added the aggressive styling he wanted along with solid protection. The winch will be great if he or any friends get stuck on the trails. Finally, the 7200-lumen Rough Country light is like a portable sun, thanks to its 30-degree spot beam pattern. Before the client left, we showed him how to use the winch safely.
