A customer from Quincy, FL, was getting his windows tinted when he saw us spraying Line-X in a truck. He asked if we could color-match the Line-X to his 2016 Chevrolet Silverado truck. We told him about Line-X XTRA, which is color-matched using the paint code from the truck, and scheduled an appointment for him for the next day.
We began by sanding the bed of the truck to make sure the Line-X made a permanent bond. After sanding, we wiped down the bed to remove all dust and dirt particles. We covered the sides and front of his truck to prevent overspray and added brown pigment to the Line-X before spraying the truck. We sprayed Line-x Pro, which is 300% stronger than other bedliners. Using the color code for the truck, we added a top coat of automotive paint that was a perfect match to the exterior of the truck. After this dried, we added Line-X Platinum to the surface of the bed to prevent fading.
