Wheel, Tire and Suspension Upgrade for Thomasville Ford F-150

A client from Thomasville recently visited Precision Audio to ask about upgrading his 2019 Ford F-150 with new wheels and tires and a suspension lift kit. First, we worked with the client to choose a style of wheel that he liked, then picked a suspension system that would provide the clearance and appearance he wanted. Finally, with everything determined, we scheduled an appointment to install these cool upgrades on his silver F-150.

The client wanted to make a statement with his wheels. These Fuel wheels will do the trick.

These Nitto tires combine perfectly with the client’s wheels for a new, aggressive look.

The client wanted a wheel that would make a real statement. He chose a set of Fuel Contra D615 wheels in a massive 22-inch diameter. These one-piece wheels have a matte black finish with milled accents down the sides of the spokes. We mounted a set of Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires sized at an impressive 35×12.5R22. We used our Hunter tire machine to put the tires on the wheels, then balanced each assembly using our Hunter Road Force balancer to ensure that the truck would have a smooth factory-like ride. We installed tire pressure monitoring sensors in the new wheels so the vehicle can monitor pressure and keep the client safe.

Our technicians take great care in making sure all the parts of the suspension lift kit are installed securely and torqued to manufacturer specifications.

This Rough Country kit comes with their premium V2 shocks and struts.

Altogether, the suspension lift kit and the wheel/tire combo add height and aggressiveness to this ride.

The client wanted the suspension raised to do more than just clear the new 35-inch tires. He wanted the truck to have presence, whether rolling down the road or tackling the trails. He chose a 6-inch lift kit from Rough Country to meet his needs. The kit includes new front steering knuckles and strut spacers, heavy-gauge fabricated differential drop brackets, sway bar drop brackets, and upgraded front and rear cross members. 

The kit also includes Rough Country’s premium V2 shocks and struts for a smooth ride. The shocks have oversized bodies and include a chrome-hardened piston rod and durable polyurethane bushings. 

Our technicians installed the kit, ensuring that every fastener was torqued to factory specifications using our Snap-On digital torque wrench. We finished the suspension upgrade by adjusting the alignment using our Hunter digital alignment machine.

With the upgrades installed on the F-150 and the suspension re-aligned, it was time for the client to return to Precision Audio to see his transformed vehicle. He loved the new stance and the aggressive wheel and tire package.
