A client from Bainbridge recently visited Precision Audio to inquire about adding a bedliner, new wheels and tires and a lift kit to his 2011 Ford F-250 pickup truck. He also wanted us to tint the windows to help keep the interior cooler. After inspecting the vehicle, we worked with the client to choose a set of solutions that would give him the features, performance and style he wanted for the vehicle.
Line-X Ford F-250 Bedliner
The client was impressed with the features and durability of our Line-X spray-in bedliner. We began by cleaning the bed of the truck before scuffing the paint so that the coating would adhere properly. Once prepared, we vacuumed away the dust and wiped down the area to remove any traces of oil or grease. Finally, we sprayed the coating onto the bed. The Line-X Pro coating is corrosion-resistant and won’t crack, bubble or peel.
Ford Pickup Truck Wheel and Tire Package
The next order of business was to assemble and balance the new wheel and tire package for the truck. The client chose a set of 20-inch KMC XD825 Buck 25 cast aluminum wheels in a chrome finish. We installed a set of 37×12.50/20 Ironman All Country M/T tires from Hercules Tire on the wheels and balanced the assembly with our Hunter Road Force balancing machine for a smooth and safe ride. A set of locking lug nuts helps to ensure that the new wheels remain on the truck.
For the massive 37-inch tires to fit, we installed a Rough Country 6-inch lift kit on the truck. The kit includes shocks, springs and control arm mount relocation brackets that make the installation reliable and accurate.
Llumar Window Tint
The last component in this project was to apply Llumar window tint to the truck windows. We used our computer-controlled plotter to cut the film to ensure a perfect fit. Our plotter eliminates the need to trim the Llumar ATR on the vehicle – a process that can leave scratches in the glass. The ATR film not only looks great, but it rejects almost 50 percent of the solar energy from the sun to keep the cabin cool and ease the load on the air conditioning system.

With the upgrades installed on the truck, it was time for the client to return to Precision Audio to inspect the vehicle. He loved the lift kit and the new wheel and tire package. The bedliner and window tint were the icing on the cake for his Ford F-250 upgrades.
