Iron City Client Chooses Precision for Ford F-350 Upgrades

Truck accessories and upgrades are a way of life here at Precision Audio. A new customer from Iron City came to us to discuss Ford F-350 upgrades for the truck he was buying from a local dealer. He wanted more functionality from the truck, as well as to make it unique. We discussed how he was going to use the vehicle and came up with a plan to personalize it to his needs and taste.

Function

The Young’s Products pop-up hitch retracts flush with the truck bed to keep the full bed functionality.

Additional storage was added with the Cam Locker tool box.

To allow the customer to haul a fifth wheel trailer, we installed a Pop-up Gooseneck hitch from Young’s Products. This hitch offers an impressive 7,500 lb. gross tongue weight capacity and the ability to tow a 30,000 lb. trailer. When the hitch is not in use, the ball retracts below the truck bed, which gives the owner full use of the vehicle for cargo.

We added a Cam Locker tool box in the bed to store extra equipment. Cam Locker tool boxes are constructed from aluminum and made right here in America. This locker is matte black in color to match the truck’s all-black color theme. Chrome-plated carbon steel T-handles and cam mechanism ensure that the lid is closed securely and completely every time.

Form

The front of the truck is fully protected with this Ranch Hand bumper and grill guard.

LED backup lights and the stock backup sensors were fitted to the Ranch Hand rear bumper.

The Fuel wheels and Nitto tires give this truck an aggressive look.

The client wanted the truck to make a clear statement – “This F-350 means business!” We replaced the stock front bumper with one from the Ranch Hand Summit Series that attaches directly to the trucks frame. The integrated grille guard includes wraparound headlight material for added protection and style. We also replaced the rear bumper with a Legend Series unit from Ranch Hand. The Legend bumper includes high-intensity LED lights, and we mounted his rear backup sensors in it.

The client wanted a set of black 20-inch Assault wheels from Fuel. We wrapped them in Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires in a beefy 35 x 12.50 R20LT size front and rear. We added a Ready Lift 2” leveling kit to give the truck some extra clearance around the new tires.

Protection

To keep the interior comfortable, we tinted the truck’s windows with Llumar ATR window tint. This high-performance, metalized film offers excellent heat rejection and protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. We also added a set of Huskyliner floor mats to further protect the vehicle and keep it looking pristine.
